Poem #10

I miss you more than words can say
I cry, without you, every night
I move through days as though I'm numb
When you're not here, I don't feel right

I miss your smile, the sound of your laugh
I long for the taste of your kiss
I can't wait to see your face
I never thought I'd need you like this

I need to hear your voice in my ears
I miss your fingers running through my hair
I want to feel your hand in mine
I miss the late-night talks we share

You're the only one who knows me
You see straight into my heart
That's why I can't stand one more day
Of you and I being apart.
